Q. How can I save my Favourites list and saved searches from Tamcat, TAMK Finna or Tutcat?

Answer

If you have saved references to books or articles etc. in Tamcat, Tutcat or TAMK Finna you can transfer your favourites lists to TuniLib or e-mail them to yourself.

Import to TuniLib

  1. Log in to the old service and go to Profile on your account

  1. At the bottom of that page is an option to Import and export my data

  1. Click Download favourites… button and save the file on your computer. The file name is finna-export-2019-date.json

  1. Log in to TuniLib and go to Your Account -> Profile where at the bottom of the page you can upload the file to TuniLib  by clicking Import favourites and searches…. button

  1. Select the file you just saved and import it

E-mail your favourites

If you want to e-mail a list of your favourites to yourself:

  1. Open Favourites in the old service.

  1. If you want to e-mail all of the items on the Favourites list and there are more than 20, switch the number of results per page. If there are more than 100 you need to send them in several batches.

  1. Select the items you want to send and click Email.

  1. If you choose Export you can send the references to RefWorks.
